Clemson Tigers land three-star RB Jamarius Haynes

There was a sprinkle of drama surrounding Handley (Ala.) running back Jamarius Haynes heading into the early signing period, but ultimately the Clemson Tigers landed the signature of the talented three-star prospect.

Haynes became a hot prospect during the fall after putting together some stat-packing performances, including rushing for 476 yards and five touchdowns in one game.

Clemson running back coach CJ Spiller stepped in with an offer on October 22nd and Haynes followed that up with an official visit to Death Valley for the South Carolina the weekend of November 25th.

While the Tigers held a firm lead since his official, Georgia Tech made a late push with Haynes visiting the Yellow Jackets this past Sunday.

However, an opportunity to play for Clemson was too good to pass up for Haynes, as he inked his National Letter of Intent with the Tigers Wednesday morning.
